I was waiting so impatiently for Brittany and Francois’s wedding once they booked me for multiple reasons. I love them as a couple and their engagement photos were so fun, and I could not wait to shoot at their venue; The Ruth by Beaumonde Venues in Charlotte, NC. I had been following along with the progress at this venue since before it opened and I just knew it was a true gem. 

Not only is The Ruth stunning, but Brittany’s vision was truly perfect!! Her wedding was the first time I would see one of my favorite floral ideas to date… She had her bridal bouquet filled with an assortment of beautiful flowers but for her bridesmaid’s bouquets, each girl had a bouquet of one type of flower that came from her bouquet. This element took my breath away and I haven’t seen it done since!! Example in the photos below!! 

Also, I get that the bride is always the center of attention, but we cannot forget about the groom too! And Francois’ fashion was everything and more. I live for a good pair of Dr. Martens and he was rocking a pair of patent leather loafer Docs on the wedding day. I had so much fun doing a detail flatlay of his accessories as well. I just had to do their flatlay on the stunning tile at the venue and definitely took advantage of the “T” in the tile for their new last name.
